Currently, we are only selling on Etsy and DesignBundles, but will continue to update this post as we branch out to new marketplaces. You can also message us directly through our website on our Contact Us page, but we do encourage you to reach out on the platform you bought or are planning on buying on.
There can be a ton of reasons why you may need to get in contact with us. Of course our favorite reason is to ask for a custom design because you love our work so much! But if we’re being honest, something probably went wrong somewhere between purchasing and trying to use the file. Never fear, we are here to help! We’re very knowledgeable in both Cricut Design Space and Studio Silhouette software. We’re also very good at asking our other designer friends if it’s something we’ve never ran into before. So whatever the reason may be to get in touch with us, we want to encourage you that we welcome all messages and will do our best to help you in whatever way we can.
Messaging us on Etsy
In order to used the message function on Etsy, you will need to make sure you are signed into the an Etsy account. It also makes it easier for us to help you if you are signed into the account you used to purchase from us.
Both Contact Us Locations on the Computer
To message us, you’re first going to need to go to our Etsy Shop shop page.
On the far right it will say SHOP OWNER with our logo underneath and then our names Jacob and Sarah.
Underneath our names there is a message symbol and the word contact.
Click on the word contact and a message box will popup.
There is also a Contact shop owner button on the far right side of your screen under the different sections you can use as well.
We typically reply within the hour. Most of the time almost immediately.
Contact Button on the Etsy Shop App
Messaging on your phone is almost the same as messaging us on your computer. You’ll need to be signed into an account and go to directly to our Shop Page.
Once on our shop page, you will see a contact button towards the top on the right side.
Press the contact button. A message box will popup
The top box that says who you are sending it to will say ZekeByDesign. That was Jake’s old Etsy account before we started Black Squirrel Digital in 2017. If we had known we wouldn’t be able to fully change the name, we would have started a brand new account. But nonetheless, it’s the right account.
In the subject box, please explain what the message is about is a few words. A couple of examples are
“Missing Download Link in Receipt Email”
“Unable to Unzip Files on Phone”
“Having Trouble Making Layers Appear in _____ Program”
“Color Change Request On _____ Design”
There really is no need to put urgent or immediately in the title, as we try answer messages as soon as we receive them.
Messaging us On DesignBundles
Just like Etsy, you will need to be signed into an account in order to send us a message on DesignBundles. You can either login with your account or Facebook, or you can register a new account.
Send Message Button on a Computer
You can find us on Design bundles by either going directly to our DesignBundles shop page, or searching for us in the search bar.
On the far left, you will see our logo, shop name, and two buttons underneath it
Select the blue box that says send message
The box will take you to a new page where you can message us directly
The message goes to our email address and we’ve found it takes around 30 minutes to receive the notification. We also don’t check our email throughout the day, so it may take up to almost a full day to respond. We apologize for the delay and we promise we will get back to you as soon as we see it.
Send Message Button Location on a Phone
Just like messaging us from the computer you can either search for our shop or go directly to our DesignBundles shop page.
Once on our shop page, you will see a Send Message button. It will be white and outlined in blue until you click on it, then it will turn blue as pictured above.
After clicking on the Send Message button, you’ll be redirected to a message screen as shown below.
Click in the white space below to display the qwerty board and begin typing your message.
***Just a note. You aren’t able to type in paragraph form, so when you hit the return button it sends what you already have typed instead of creating a space between lines. There is also no subject line so please be very specific at the beginning of your message what the message is about.
As stated above, it takes us a little over 30 minutes to receive the notification to our email inbox. This can cause a delayed response of hours on our part. On rare occasion we may respond faster. It all depends on if we happen to be logged in on the site when you message us. Please be patient with us while we wait on the notification. We reply to as soon as we possible can.
